Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of LISTA. By creating an account or accepting an invite, you agree to them.

1. The service

LISTA is a private workspace for organising information about your home and garden — locations, projects, photos, documents, notes, and chat. You can share parts of it with people you invite, with the scope and permission you choose.

The service is provided by OnlineTools Kft., 8258 Badacsonytomaj, Szent Donát út 20., Hungary (the “Operator”).

2. Your account

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• You authenticate using a passkey or a magic link sent to your email. There are no passwords. Don't share your magic-link emails or device passkeys with anyone.
• You are responsible for keeping your email and devices secure. We will treat actions taken from a signed-in session as your actions.
• You can delete your account at any time. Deletion removes your content within 30 days, subject to legally required retention.

3. Your content

Anything you upload or create stays yours. You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display it solely for the purpose of running the service for you and the people you share with.

You confirm that you have the right to upload and share whatever you put into LISTA. Don't upload other people's copyrighted material without permission, illegal content, or anything that violates a third party's privacy.

4. Sharing

When you create a share invite, the recipient gets the access you grant — read-only, comment, or edit, scoped to what you specify. You can revoke any invite at any time. Once revoked, the link stops working immediately, but content the recipient may have already saved or downloaded is outside our control.

If you receive an invite, you agree to use the access in good faith and only for the purpose for which it was given.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use LISTA for anything illegal, harmful, or harassing.
• Upload malware, run automated scrapers, or attempt to break the security of the service or its users.
• Impersonate someone else or misrepresent your identity in invites.
• Resell or repackage the service without our written agreement.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that materially violate these rules, with reasonable notice where possible.

6. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may take the service down for maintenance, security work, or in response to incidents. We may also change features, add new ones, or remove ones that no longer make sense; material removals will be communicated to active users.

7. Warranties

The service is provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including liability for death, personal injury, or fraud).

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our aggregate liability for claims arising from or related to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or €100 — whichever is greater. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including loss of data or profits.

You are responsible for keeping your own backups of anything you upload that you cannot afford to lose.

9. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Hungarian law, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. The courts of Hungary have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these terms or the service. Consumers retain the mandatory protections of the law of their country of residence.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated to active users by email. Continued use of the service after a material change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
